The preparation of professional students to meet the demands of veterinary careers during the 21st century is the primary objective of the College of Veterinary Medicine. The college is committed to assuring that each of its graduates is a professional with the academic foundation and clinical skills to enter a wide array of veterinary careers.

 

The College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University is dedicated to scholarship through innovation and excellence in teaching, research, and service to promote animal and human health for the public good. We are committed to creating an environment that is fulfilling and rewarding, being recognized for good communication, productive collaboration, mutual respect, diversity, integrity, and honesty.

The College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University has "full accreditation" status by the Council on Education of the American Veterinary Medical Association. The next AVMA COE site visit will occur during 2010. The pass rate for KSU graduates on the North American Licensing Examination during 2007-2008 was 99%.
